4Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya YojanaDDU-GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural youth and harnessing aspirations of youth.DDU-GKY is uniquely focused on rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years from poor families.
5Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas YojanaThe objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-available skill training and help them in securing a better livelihood.Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
6Financial Assistance for Skill Training of Persons with DisabilitiesThis scheme targets skill development of People with Disability as per industry needs which can then be gainfully employed and contribute it to India's growing economy. Trainees are provided stipendiary support for training in 30 States for NIOS.It provides certificates to trainees after the completion of training, that is based on the Expository- NOS aligned curriculum.
7The National Apprenticeship Training SchemeIt is a one year programme equipping technically qualified youth with practical knowledge and skills required in their field of work.At the end of one year training they are issued a Certificate attesting to their training and proficiency in a particular field.
8National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) is a scheme of Government of India to promote apprenticeship.Apprenticeship Training and On-the-Job Training/Practical Training at workplace in the industry.
9Skill development for minorities'Seekhe aur Kamao (Learn & Earn)' is a scheme implemented on 2013-14 for skill development of minorities.The scheme aims at upgrading the skills of minority youth in various non-traditional/non-lucrative fields depending upon their qualification, present economic trends and market potential, which can earn suitable employment or make them suitable skilled to go for self-employment.
10Green Skill Development ProgrammeMost vocational training programmes focus on mechanical/technical skills rather than soft or "green" skills. Green skills contribute to preserving or restoring environmental quality for sustainable future and include jobs that protect ecosystems and biodiversity, reduce energy and minimize waste and pollution. This with the Skill India Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) utilizing the vast network and expertise of ENVIS hubs/RPs, has taken up an initiative for skill development in the environment and forest sector.Green skills contribute to preserving or restoring environmental quality for sustainable future and include jobs that protect ecosystems and biodiversity, reduce energy and minimize waste and pollution.
11Rural Self Employment Training InstitutesIt is an initiative of Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) to have dedicated infrastructure in each district of the country to impart training and skill upgradation of youth gained benefits entrepreneurship development.Rural BPL youth will be identified and trained for self-employment.
